A very very warm and suffocating day...
Went to NYJC this afternoon...for the audition...
We thought it was suppose to be in the music room but later we found out that the Guzheng members were in the hall.
Okay I played and got nervous, sweat and trembled partly because of the closed hall ( " sauna " like what the girls said )
And right, I got affected by what that china teacher said... I'm not feeling well and now what she had said got stuck in my head * SHOO SHOO! *
The teacher-in-charge Mdam Goh is a very nice woman, I really like her. And so I finally realise that I can actually minus another 2 POINTS!! And I will be just right for NYJC! SHEESH!!!
Well it's over anyway.. And there are already 984 students in the list for NYJC, their total intake will be about 1000+
I guess you can tell from my tone that I'm very disappointed, yes with my performance.. It could have been better... =(
Madam Goh did gave me a sense of reassurance, she asked me what subjects I wanted to take and I was quite confused at first so here's what she planned out for me which I don't think it's quite bad either...
H1- Biology
H2- Math, Chem, Econs/Chinese
This is just temporary I think, the rest is still up to me, I thought of H2 chem, bio but than it seems very very very hard to cope, anyway I will still keep in view. Econs or Chinese..Well Econs seem interesting, it needs good english and math. So when Madam Goh saw my result slip, and my English, she immediately say Econs, but then when she saw I took Higher Chinese, she told me about the minus 2 points thing and so on...
I saw many students in the hall, different CCAs, and I'm wondering one thing.. Stress? Nope they don't look like they are stress, everyone's having fun! Around the school... Stress? No I don't see it. That's why survey marks X, believing in yourself is the most important, try it before complaining it. JC life is that fast, I agree with what Madam Goh said as well.
I guess I should not worry about that china teacher thing anymore, I really like NYJC even more right now, I hope I will be able to get into the JC, even if not I will just do my very best for 2 years! I have not regretted putting JC as my first choice, I'm glad I did not just follow blindly!~
For now... It's CHINESE NEW YEAR COMING!! WOOT! And also the end of work!! >.< And I got my first pay already!! Haha! =D
Jya Neh!~
