I can't believe that I actually scored well for E math, I was so worried I might fail due to the moderation and I did not actually finished paper 2.
My english remained the same and I felt very relieved. So many B3s, Oh my!? But I'm happy =)
A Math is the most unbelievable! From a F9 grade, I climb up to a B3! I am really thankful to my tutor and my A math teacher, they really helped me a lot. ( I think I will try and accept math =D )
What was most shocking is Biology and Higher Mother Tongue, but I can roughly guess what pulled my grades down... ( I'm so disappointed with Biology! )
Overall I'm very happy with my results! I didn't think that I will do so well, my parents told me that I have to plus minus a few points using my prelim score to see what will my O level results be like. And I was thinking that it will be even worse!
I'm very relieved now, very very very! I'm so happy that I'm not repeating the same old path as primary 6 where I have so little path to go because of my low score, many schools shut their doors and my parents..I can see that they were disappointed at that time.
But right now! There are many doors for me to enter, I'm so happy! >.< ( SUGOI!! )
I'm happy for my friends as well, most of them can get into polys and JCs, good luck for the courses you're going to!~ For those who are not able to get into what you want, what is done is done. Work hard next time!~ Gambatte!
We have to submit online for our registration, after much thoughts and my visit to the school, I have finally decided that JC will be my first choice, Nanyang JC!~
Many people said that JC is stress, will die in there etc. And that Poly is not stress etc. I think this is just human nature, and also the trend going on. I read an article written by a professor and I really do agree with him, and he's also one of the reasons which made me choose JC.
There are many many MANY people who are going into Polys, majority think that they will be escaping from studies and just have fun. Tsk tsk, survey says X!
My end goal is to University and so the right-to-be choice for me is JC. It's not that you can't go to Uni through Poly, you have to be the top 5-10% of ALL poly students to go. For me I think it will be difficult, because of my character if it's so much fun in school that it isn't like a school already, I will just play all day =)
JC Vs Poly! I think both have their level of stress, those who say that Poly is not stress are having the wrong mindset already. But of course, JC level of stress will be definitely higher. In the first place, if you're aiming for Uni and a bright future, you will strive and do your best for 2 years. It's only 2 years and after that you will have many doors opening for you again!~ =)
I saw some Poly cousins and friends of mine also saying it's stress, so survey says people who are going to poly nowadays are just following the T word. ( Majority )
I'm not being bias or anything, I'm just saying out my thoughts, because it hurts me when people tell me JC stress, will die in there etc. Which indirectly means Poly will not? And if I choose JC I will dieee in there for sure.
Okay I have done spamming, hope that I will get into the JC I want!~ Do my best and meet new people!! 2 years! Strive for it! ( To all friends going JC! Do not waver! Do your best for 2 years! =) )
